IV Antioxidants
Once we recognize that 70% of the deaths in our country are related to chronic inflammatory conditions, it is easy to understand why taking antioxidants is so important to our health. Just in the course of normal cellular energy production and replication we produce billions of oxidants per cell everyday. Fortunately, each of our cells can handle normal levels of oxidation. Unfortunately, because of our Standard American Diet, (the SAD diet), the air we breathe the water we drink and the chemicals and toxins we are exposed to every day our built-in anti-oxidation systems are often overwhelmed. This chronic inflammatory state can manifest itself as many diseases: Asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, heart disease, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, to name, just a few. The presence of that nagging ache or pain you associated with “getting older” often times is the manifestation of too much oxidative burden. This is where IV antioxidants can be of enormous benefit.
A Cocktail Your Body Will Thank You For
At Full Potential Health Care our base formula is the Myers cocktail. Full of the powerful antioxidant vitamin C, it also contains essential B vitamins as well as magnesium and calcium. All of these vitamins and minerals work in concert to alleviate the oxidative burden as well as provide symptomatic relief for many of the above conditions. We generally recommend a series of 6 weekly infusions supplemented by oral antioxidants to support your cells natural capabilities, reduce your total oxidative debt and reestablish a normal equilibrium. Further IV therapy, may or may not be recommended based on your response to this initial 6 weeks protocol.
We also utilize IV glutathione for neurodegenerative conditions such as MS, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Autism and whenever we suspect the inflammatory load to be particularly high.
Further, Full Potential Health Care stands willing and able to work with oncologists in the nutritional support of patients undergoing cancer treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. Protocols can be tailored for the individual patient with consideration given to the type of cancer treatment program that is in place.
