Cancellations
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance otherwise a no show charge of $100 will be applied.
Insurance
Before opening Full Potential Health Care, Dr. Bauerschmidt interviewed a number of his friends and acquaintances. He asked them all the same question: "What are you most unhappy with when it comes to visiting your doctor?" A n overwhelming number responded with answers like: "He/She doesn't spend enough time with me; I did not get my questions answered" or " spent an hour waiting for him and he was in and out in 5 minutes". The common denominator of all these responses regards time. Time is something that physicians seem to have less of and it is largely due to insurance.
At Full Potential Health Care we believe that Preventive medicine is the most cost-effective approach to illness. The time spent with the patient taking that first history and physical is a necessary and central part of getting to the root of your problems. In fact with an adequate history and physical a physician can determine the cause of your problems as much as 85 % of the time. That saves a lot of your money in the form of expensive co-pays, deductibles and and out of pocket expenses for unnecessary tests and expensive prescriptions. Therefore, In the interest of trying to provide you the highest quality health care and value for your medical dollar, Full Potential Health Care has chosen to be an out of network provider for all insurance companies.
However in an effort to minimize your expenses, you will receive a "super bill" with all necessary procedure and diagnosis codes that you may submit to your insurance company for whatever reimbursement is allowed by your policy.
Dr. Bauerschmidt is committed to providing you with healthcare that is based on value and driven by quality. Such a practice cannot be maintained with insurance based re-reimbursement. We hope you understand and chose to let us help you live your life to its Full Potential.
